We visited London from Singapore and happened to visit this Myanmar restaurant as a friend of ours suggested. It was a lovely place with authentic Burmese food. I would recommend it to anyone who wishes to try it.

We visited this lovely Burmese restaurant during our trip from Australia since I was craving for Burmese food. The place was very cozy, with friendly staffs. The food was also very authentic, so good!!! We had tamarind grass jelly drink which was very refreshing. La phat tote (tea leaf salad), Ngapi yay, pork sticks were also very good and authentic! 100% recommend for people who want authentic Burmese food and people craving for some.

I was a bit hesitant to try Burmese cuisine for the first time, but I’m so glad I did—it completely exceeded my expectations! The service was wonderful, and Zunny, the owner, was the perfect host. Now let’s talk about the food—oh my gosh! The catfish curry was absolutely to die for, and the Shan Khauk Swel noodles hit all the right spots. Every bite was packed with flavor. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Absolutely delicious and authentic Burmese food – full of rich, bold flavours that instantly took me back. Every dish was clearly made with care, and the ingredients tasted fresh and vibrant. The staff were warm, welcoming, and happy to talk through the menu. A proper gem – will definitely be coming back!

Arponnar is a great representation of Burmese foods. Incredibly friendly staff with exquisite taste of the Burmese cuisines. Since Burmese food is an underrated Asian food, this restaurant will satisfy all your taste buds that you didn’t know needed satisfying.

I had a fantastic dinner at this Burmese restaurant tonight with some friends, everything was incredibly flavorful and authentic. I especially loved the Shan rice noodle and Mee Xian Soup. The sauce of the Shan noodle was perfectly balanced with the pork mince - rich, savory, and full of depth. I was also pleasantly surprised by the Pazun Chin Thoke, the tangy flavor of the salad and asked about it, turns out it is homemade from rice and shrimp, and naturally fermented, which gave it such a fresh, unique taste. It was my first time trying it. Even the tamarind juice was refreshing and delicious. On top of the amazing food, the owner was super welcoming, and the staff were all really friendly and attentive. A truly great spot if you’re looking to explore authentic Burmese cuisine. Highly recommend!

I had an amazing curry here booked a table for Thursday at 7:30pm. It was quite empty when we got there but it very quickly filled up and got quite lively. Our server was super nice and friendly! Gave us some great recommendations and let us know that we could get it quite spicy. We started with the fish cakes which were nice. Loved the textures but wish it was a little more flavourful. The real winners were the mains which were the Burmese fish Curry. It was quite similar to a home cooked Bengali fish curry! Some differences include the spice level and in the Burmese edition there was more of a deeper fish and salty flavour from the sauce. I really enjoyed the richness of the sauce and there was a subtle sweetness throughout. The fish was also great quality. We also got the Kyay-Oh Chicken. A fantastic homely dish packed with a lot of elements working well together. Loved the tenderness and moistness of the chicken. The fish balls really filled out the dish giving nice differing tastes. The broth was brought out on the side and was also delicious to drink up by itself. I can't wait to come back here and get the fish curry again as well as try some other starters and mains!

Never had Burmese cuisine before! Service was excellent, our waiter was very knowledgeable and friendly. Atmosphere was great, it was Burmese New Year and there was a really fun vibe to the restaurant. Food was delicious, recommended!
